1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Resuminn, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Resuminn. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age.

3. Description of Service

Resuminn is an online resume building platform. The service includes resume creation and editing tools, resume templates, PDF and Word export, AI-powered resume analysis and optimization, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) scoring, and job match analysis.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

5. Subscription and Payments

Some features of Resuminn require a paid subscription or credit purchase. All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

• You will pay all applicable fees for your chosen plan or credit pack
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through LemonSqueezy. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Purchased credit packs (including interview credits) do not expire
• Interview credits are consumed when scheduling a mock interview. Scheduled interviews can be postponed but not cancelled or refunded
• The All-Inn (yearly) plan includes 2 complimentary interview credits per billing period

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on subscriptions, subject to the following conditions:

• The refund request must be made within 14 days of the purchase date
• Refunds are only available if you have not used any premium features during the subscription period

7. User Content

You own all content you create using Resuminn, including your resume text, uploaded files, and any other materials you provide.

By using the service, you grant Resuminn a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when you delete your account. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

8. AI Processing

Resuminn uses AI to power features such as ATS scoring, resume analysis, resume optimization, AI resume upload parsing, and AI mock interviews:

• OpenAI: Powers resume analysis, optimization, AI upload parsing, and real-time voice mock interviews
• Perplexity AI: Used to research real interview questions and company insights for mock interview preparation

By using these AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your resume content and any job descriptions you provide will be sent to OpenAI for processing
• When using mock interviews, your voice audio is streamed to OpenAI in real time for the conversation and is not stored by Resuminn after the session ends
• Company and role information from your resume may be sent to Perplexity AI to research relevant interview questions
• AI-generated suggestions, scores, and interview feedback are provided as guidance only and may not always be accurate
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before using it

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Resuminn to:

• Create intentionally false or fraudulent resume content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service
• Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your Settings page, or by contacting us at contact@resuminn.com.

• Account deletion requires password re-authentication for security
• After requesting deletion, you have a 24-hour grace period to cancel the request via the link sent to your email or from your Settings page
• After 24 hours, all your personal data, resumes, and files are permanently deleted
• Any active subscriptions are automatically cancelled upon deletion
• Anonymized deletion audit logs are retained for legal compliance (see our Privacy Policy for details)

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Resuminn is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that using Resuminn will result in job interviews or employment. While we work to optimize resumes for ATS systems, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every ATS system. AI-generated suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate or suitable for your specific situation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Resuminn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Resuminn harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Where EU law refers to national law, the applicable national law will be determined based on the relevant circumstances.

15. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, we encourage you to first contact us at contact@resuminn.com so we can try to resolve it directly.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction within the European Union.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will continue to apply in full.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Resuminn regarding the use of the service.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
